50 ml Range Extension

Due to the success of the 50ml range, Herb UK has introduced 6 additional products in this size, in time for the summer season. Thermal2Twenty, Spray Gloss, Glaze, Revamp, and Status Quo Shampoo and Conditioner are now available in this handy 50ml bottle, ideal for clients to use on holiday or at the gym. Alternatively, they can be sold as introductory size products to new clients or to existing clients wanting to try a new styling product.

 

 

NO LIMITS – SEMI PERMANENT RANGE

Hot on the heels of the launch of the Extra Brights, we welcome another range to the Organic Colour Systems family. The No Limits colours are a range of 4 vivid, semi-permanent colours.

The range comprises the following shades: Red, yellow, orange and violet.

No Limits semi-permanent hair colour is a fantastic way to refresh your shade inbetween colouring or to change the tone for a short period of time. The possibilities for this product are endless and it can be applied in the salon or sold to the client to be used at home. They are PPD- and PTD-free - they use direct dyes rather than oxidative pigments. They are ideal for clients who are allergic to PPDs and PTDs.

This semi-permanent colour should last between 6 and 12 washes. They are easy to apply and can be used by the client to revitalise colour inbetween salon visits or used to create a funky, vibrant shade. For a brighter effect, apply to pre-lightened hair. For average length hair you would need 15-20 ml so you can get 7-10 applications from each 150 ml bottle.

 

Clarifying Shampoo

We are pleased to announce that we have introduced a Clarifying Shampoo to the Organic Connect range. The Clarifying Shampoo removes build-up and impurities caused by product residues, grease and dirt. Supplied in 900ml bottles, the Clarifying Shampoo is the ideal backwash product to prepare the hair for colouring, perming and straightening. Ideal for resistant grey. After the treatment, use the appropriate Status Quo, Power Build or Aqua Boost shampoo and conditioner from the Organic Care Systems range as normal.

 

 

Propylene Glycol replaced with Propanediol

Herb UK is removing Propylene Glycol from all products in the OCS line. We’re aware that some consumers have expressed concern about this ingredient. We used USP pharmaceutical grade Propylene Glycol and consider it to be safe for use, but are happy to respond to customer concern by taking it out of all relevant products.

Propanediol, a renewably sourced material, will replace Propylene Glycol. Derived from the sugar from corn kernels, it is a certified organic ingredient. Including Propanediol is therefore in keeping with our ethos of using the most natural ingredients possible.

Key benefits of Propanediol - An effective moisturizer. Enables us to exchange a synthetic ingredient for an 100% natural alternative; has ECOCERT certification.

Products affected: All permanent OCS Colours, Naturlite Oil, Revamp Treatment, Protect Leave-In Conditioner: Spray Gel, Hairspray, Finale Hairspray, and Thermal 2 Twenty.

Fantastic NEW Colours & Styling Products from Organic Colour Systems!

The Brighteners for Organic Colour Systems are pure colour shades that can be added to existing formulas to create complex colours that add a kick to the same old, same old. They can also be used on pre-lightened hair to create dazzling and funky high fashion colours! The new Brighteners range includes Extra Bright Orange - XBO, Extra Bright Red - XBR, Extra Bright Violet - XBV and Extra Bright Yellow - XBY. All of these colours are 100% ammonia free, and with the exception of XBV, they contain no PPD/PTD! Because the Brighteners are oxidative colours and NOT direct dyes, they need to be mixed with an activator and processed like the colours in the Organic Colour Systems line.

Four new styling products

Four new styling products have been introduced into the range - Wax, Crème, Putty and Gel. The Crème and Gel will be going into the Organic Control Systems range. Wax and Putty will be going into Organic Connect, as these products contain plastic to ensure a strong enough hold. Crème and Wax will be available in a 75ml jar, and Gel and Putty will be available in a 150ml airless pump. The jars also come with a shive to ensure there is no contamination of the products.

 

New Branding

2010 saw the redesign of Organic Care Systems. The brand's image has been updated.

Introducing New Size 50ml Bottles

As you are aware, Power Build and Aqua Boost Shampoo and Conditioner, along with Protect Leave-in Conditioner and Finale Hairspray are available in a variety of different sizes. Due to the popularity of these products they have now been launched in 50 ml bottles. Ideal for clients to use on holiday or at the gym, these new size bottles could also be sold as introductory products to new clients or given away as part of an introductory package for clients to trial. The display holds one bottle of each of the six products and looks great when placed on the counter.
